Gold plated jewelry uses electricity to adhere gold ions to a base metal. If you are sensitive to nickel, we recommend any of our 18k gold plated sterling silver jewelry, although 14k gold plating is typically hypoallergenic as well. 18k gold is composed of 75% gold and 25% alloy while 14k gold is comprised of58.3% gold and 41.7% alloy. 18k gold will have a slightly more vibrant yellow hue.

Gold-Plated Jewelry

Store your gold plated jewelry in a zip-lock plastic bag and squeeze out any excess air before sealing it shut. Minimizing oxygen in the bag will help keep the gold plated jewelry bright and shiny.

Remove gold-plated jewelry before showering, swimming and working out to lengthen the lifespan of your piece. Make sure you spritz your perfume first before wearing your jewelry.

Some gold-plated jewelry may be plated on sterling silver. Wearing these pieces often could help maintain the look of your piece, as the oil in your skin can help prevent tarnishing on the silver.

Gold-plated titanium does not tarnish easily at all, and can be worn in water. Titanium is a very durable metal that is resistant to corrosion and scratching.

Light Cleaning

Gently rub the gold-plated jewelry with a soft, non-abrasive, and lint-free cloth. Do not use a polishing cloth, as it will strip away the plating.

Heavy Duty Cleaning

1. Soak gold-plated jewelry in water mixed with sudsy dish soap for 1 minute to break down dirt and grime. Don't use antibacterial soap, as the chemical may break down the plating.

2. Rinse with clean warm water. We recommend using a clean bowl for this so you don't drop it down the drain!

3. Pat dry with a clean, lint-free towel.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return unless the item listing notes that it is a final sale. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 7 days if any item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will need the order number and shipping zip code.

You have the option of returning your items with a pre-paid shipping label that we provide or your own packaging. Refunds are processed within 3 days of receiving your return.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return through the portal or via email will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 7 days if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, items marked 'final sale', or gift cards. 

 

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to submit a return using our returns portal and purchase the item you would like.

  

European Union 14-day Cooling Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason, and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If your return is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
